What New

Well done Nic and Z (Obay One Crazy Dude) qualifying for the Great Britain Medium teams for both the European Open Championships in Italy 27-30th July and the World Championships in the Czech Republic 5-8 October.

In May Nic and Z won Gold in the World Agility Organisation Championships in the Netherlands and in August Nic won the Doggy Jumps Masters.

Congratulations too to Hahhah Thorp qualifying for the YKC European open junior Championships 13-16th July in Luxembourg.

In June 2017 WE MOVED to our new training venue, Wrens Nest Farm, Skip Lane, WS5 3RB,  indoors winter and inclement weather outdoor Summer.

Our 2017 Championship show held in May at Catton Hall was a great success.  2018 Schedule and entry form will be available from
Agility Shows Online at the end of the year.

Members are reminded they must help putting out or packing away the equipment.

Members can buy club kit direct from Agilitywear

Introducing the Club

In brief, you should know the following about us: our club was established in 1985 and has brought forward scores of agility winners since. We do not take ourselves too seriously, but we do take having fun seriously.

If you are looking for breed ring craft or competitive obedience training, sorry, we can't help.  Agility and having fun is our only focus.  A sense of humour, a bit of dedication and a carvan or big car is helpful and owning a dog can be an advantage.

Beacon Agility Dog Training Club previously based at the Veseyan Rugby and Sports Club for 31 years has NOW MOVED to Wrens Nest Farm, Skip Lane, WS5 3RB.

Training is informal.  That, is you train your dog in the style that suits you.  There is little formal training of the handler though we do occasionally invite guest trainers. If you feel the courses laid out are too tough or too easy members have the freedom to set out their own set pieces or course.

Visitors are welcome to train with us before committing to membership.
