What New

Congratulations to Nic and Z (Obay One Crazy Dude) selected for the England team at 2019 World Agility Open, Ermello, Netherlands, in the 400 category.

Nic and Z also qualified for Crufts 2019, won first place at Doggy Jumps Masters in September and came 3rd at the British Agility Championship Finals.

Our 2018 Championship show held in May at Catton Hall was a great success.  2019 Schedule and entry form for our NEW VENUE will be available from Agility Shows Online .
Our new training venue is Wrens Nest Farm, Skip Lane, WS5 3RB,  indoors winter and inclement weather outdoor Summer.

Members are reminded they must help putting out or packing away the equipment.

Members can buy club kit direct from Agilitywear

Introducing the Club

In brief, you should know the following about us: our club was established in 1985 and has brought forward scores of agility winners since. We do not take ourselves too seriously, but we do take having fun seriously.

If you are looking for breed ring craft or competitive obedience training, sorry, we can't help.  Agility and having fun is our only focus.  A sense of humour, a bit of dedication and a carvan or big car is helpful and owning a dog can be an advantage.

Beacon Agility Dog Training Club previously based at the Veseyan Rugby and Sports Club for 31 years has NOW MOVED to Wrens Nest Farm, Skip Lane, WS5 3RB.

Training is informal.  That, is you train your dog in the style that suits you.  There is little formal training of the handler though we do occasionally invite guest trainers. If you feel the courses laid out are too tough or too easy members have the freedom to set out their own set pieces or course.

Visitors are welcome to train with us before committing to membership.
